I am a busy work at home mom with a 5 and 2 year old underfoot that prides the fact that my clients can appreciate how I combine motherhood and business, while still producing a superior product and customer service! Technology certainly makes this easier as I am able to connect with my clients via email or instant messaging to find out exactly what their needs are, and how to create the designs they crave.
While my unique designs have a predominately feminine and girly feel, I also offer clean, simple, masculine themed designs as well. Tickled Pink Designz was founded in 2004 by moi, Tabatha Hendrix. Unlike most designers I didn't play with crayons as a kid, I didn't draw, and I never had any interest in doing this until after I graduated. I married right out of high school and we decided I should do something that would allow me to stay at home with the kids (when we started having them). I started off selling adult toys, I searched endlessly to find a web designer who was affordable for me and still produced a descent looking website. I was unsuccessful. So I started playing around with my own website, remember Geocities sites? I finally got my head wrapped around it and ordered dreamweaver and fireworks (not that I necessarily recommend those now) and did a ton of online tutorials. I was so happy that I had designed my very own website and I loved the entire process of it. From there I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I was mostly self taught and I decided a little school wouldn't hurt me. I started online classes, and haven't looked back.
I have purposely kept my business small so that I am able to cater to each client as if he or she are my #1. I believe that being small and flexible helps us communicate better and adapt quickly to the always changing environment. That's why our approach focuses completely on delivering simple, clean and usable web sites that reach your clients with ease.
We combine creative design and web standards to deliver pixel perfect results that leave a real impact on the user. To accomplish all this, we have built up a trusted group of highly experienced partners and freelancers that compliment our very own Tickled Pink team (in short, if we can't do it for you we can find someone who can).
